This was created for my nephew. He shares Indiana Jones’ name: Henry Jones!
Inspired by the beautiful patterns and wonderful advice from Pat Ashforth and Steve Plummer at Woolly Thoughts, I set out to create something special for him. I recommend exploring the wonderful illusion knitting patterns at the Woolly Thoughts website.
This is a really big project. It took many hours to knit, but the result was worth it. It probably took me between 60 and 70 hours, but once you get going it is fairly relaxing.
If you have worked from an illusion knitting pattern before, you should know that my chart is not the same as those used by Woolly Thoughts. On my chart one row represents four rows of knitting. (On their charts one row represents two rows of knitting.)
